VARIED QUIZ TYPES

Exercise types have been carefully selected to suit the nature of each subject and subtopic.
All exercises provide instant feedback, making eRevision a superb tool for independent learning and revision.
A '3-try' system challenges students to engage with the Q&As and improves learning.
GapFill: GapFill is a simple learning exercise. Students are presented with a paragraph of text containing 7–15 blanks with must be filled in from a choice of possible answers in a dropdown list. Each dropdown will contain the correct answer, a red herring, and a number of incorrect answers.
MatchUp is a simple revision exercise. Students are presented with a set of questions and a set of corresponding answers which are jumbled up. They need to drag the correct answer onto each question.
ReOrder is a simple revision exercise. Students are presented with a list of at least 5 fields which must be dragged into the correct order.
Categorise is a simple revision exercise. Students are presented with a set of 2-5 categories, and a collection of 10-30 answers. They need to drag each answer onto the correct category.
PinDrop - In this exercise, student will be given an image with labels next to it. Labels will need to be dragged and dropped to the right location.
MultipleChoice is a simple revision exercise. Students are presented with a set of 10-18 questions, and multiple choice answers; one correct and four incorrect. They need to click on the correct answer to each question.
TypeIt is a simple learning exercise. Students are presented with a paragraph of text containing 7–15 blanks with must be filled in by typing the correct answer into the blank space.
Wipeout is a more difficult revision exercise. Like MultipleChoice, students are presented with a set of questions, and multiple choice answers; one correct and up to four incorrect. They need to click on the correct answer to each question. However, unlike MultipleChoice, if a student answers a question incorrectly the quiz ends.
In the Exam exercise, students gets questions that they need to answer themselves. After the student types in their answer, system provides a model answer. Students can compare their own answer with the model answer, and mark themselves.
