There are thousands of sports and physical activities that people participate in around the world. Some are native to certain countries or regions, like Australian Rules football or in Ireland, while others are played on international scales at events such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Some sports and activities are quite similar to one another, like Union and League codes of rugby, while others are completely different. Below we will cover some of the different types of sport and physical activities, and the benefits of taking part in each.
