They sing a song to rouse their passions called   'Beasts Forever''Death to Mankind''We'll Meet Again''Beasts Of England', and, after Old Major dies, the animals are inspired to seize control of the farm. While the pigs take charge of running the farm, tensions develop between Snowball and Napoleon, especially over the  committeessheepfood rationswindmill, and this leads to Snowball's expulsion after Napoleon mounts a coup. With   PinkeyeCloverMosesSquealer as his main mouthpiece, Napoleon begins to spread propaganda about the farm and its enemies. Increasingly, the pigs serve their own interests, and the other animals work long hours for little food. The horse Boxer contracts an illness in his  stomachmouthlungsheart which causes him to collapse, and despite the other animals trying to intervene, Napoleon has him taken away to the   glue factoryknacker's yardmeat factoryold horses' home.
