THE IMPORTANCE OF MOTIVATION

It is important for a business to motivate its employees to make sure that it staff and to keep up levels.

FINANCIAL MOTIVATION METHODS

One method of financial motivation is , which means the wages, pay or salary that an employee is paid for a job.  Staff may be attracted by high wages.  Additionally, staff may be paid a based on how well the company has performed over the year.  Staff may also be financially motivated by benefits such as free private healthcare or a company van which they can use.  Workers may feel motivated if they are  higher up in the business, which will increase their salary.

NON-FINANCIAL MOTIVATION METHODS

If a member of staff has job in their role, this means that they will carry out a range of tasks, which helps to make the job less boring.  Workers can also be motivated if they feel they have a degree of freedom or in their job.  Finally, employees may have their job by giving them additional or extra responsibilities to make the job more interesting and motivate them to be more productive.
