The type of assistance that service users may need with personal hygiene can . Care workers need to respect the of the service user at all times. It is a good idea to encourage the service user's  or, if this is not possible, encourage them to take part in the washing routine. Care workers should ask the person for  before providing personal care and should aim to protect the service user from embarrassment. 

It is important that service users have a/an  as to what they wear and when they wear it. It would not  the person if they were told what to wear or had little choice.
