Skill in sport can be defined as the learned ability to perform an action or behaviour with maximum certainty and efficiency to bring about a predetermined result. There are many components to skilful performance, with each component being required to perform specific movements in sport. This activity will take a look at how these different components are used for performance in various team sports, individual sports, outdoor activities and physical fitness activities.
