freedom is an important belief within society itself, but also within Islam. The human condition of having free will is a key consideration when discussing the Muslim attitude towards religious freedom. One way religious people may show their faith is by wearing religious symbols - for example, Muslim women may choose to themselves, such as using the hijab or burqa, as a mark of their religious faith. This is an important religious for Muslim women, as it allows them to represent their faith. This has become a particular issue in places where some aspects of religious expression - such as veiling - are not allowed. For example, in , it is illegal to have total face covering in public, which is an issue for those Muslim women who choose to practise this kind of veiling. Some Muslims may feel challenged by living in a society, as their religious convictions may be challenged by interaction with people from other belief systems. The benefit which Muslims may find by living in a multifaith society is enriching work with people of other religions in order to heal divides which exist between faith groups in society. Many mosques use groups in order to try to facilitate interfaith work in order to pursue a more harmonious society.
