  • Add up your results and work out the average. This is the average number of daisies in one square metre.
  • Multiply the average by 600 to get the estimated total for the whole field.
  • Put the quadrats down on the ground in their chosen places.
  • First divide the field into a grid.
  • Choose random coordinates from the grid to decide where to place your 10 quadrats.
  • Count the number of daisy plants in each quadrat.
