  • The test stops when the subject has crossed the finish line.
  • Can be used to monitor changes in agility prior to and following a training programme.
  • The course must be completed by running in order between start and finish; the subject should avoid knocking over any cones.
  • The remaining four cones should be placed vertically down the middle/centre and should be spread 3.3 m apart.
  • On the 'go' command by a partner, the subject gets up as quickly as they can and runs around the cones as quickly as possible.
  • Eight cones should be placed on a flat, non-slippery surface. The first four cones should create a rectangle. The course should be 10 m long and 5 m wide.
  • The subject should lie face down at the start line, with their head facing towards the start line. Their hands can be placed by their shoulders.
  • The time taken is measured by a stopwatch and recorded in seconds.
