Building positive with adults, children and young people who require care and support is an essential part of the care worker’s and responsibilities. Those individuals who use health and social care services might be vulnerable because they are at risk of abuse or neglect. Others may need because they are recovering from a major operation or living with a condition such as dementia, or they might be experiencing a mental health crisis.
In order to foster these positive relationships, care workers need important , such as being caring, approachable and respectful, plus they need skills to maintain honest and open with individuals and their families. When carers honour their commitments and behave in manner, they create trust and security, which encourage service users to feel , respected and fulfilled.
