The aim of  inspectionmonitoringsupervisionadvocacy is to develop the ability of a person to represent themselves effectively in any situation. Advocacy comes in a number of forms, such as advocacy by   relativessurgeonssolicitorslawyers and friends, or peer advocacy, where an individual who has had  a near-deatha similaran incorrectno experience or is in a similar circumstance could provide  climbingpracticalcleaningdietary support. Formal advocates could be volunteers or   freeunpaidpaidcharitable individuals who are there to assist the person. An advocate will act in the individual's   systematicworstwrongbest interests and maintain confidentiality. They follow the  prizeswishesmoneygifts and instructions of the person and keep them informed of the situation. They might provide assistance by   singingdancingmimingspeaking for the client in meetings, writing letters or emails with the client, discussing care preferences and, ultimately, promoting the   proceduresnegotiationsprinciplesrights of the individual.
