Empowerment means  suggestingreducingremovingenabling individuals to make their own decisions and to control their own lives. It requires the health and social worker to  showreceivecreateempathise with their service user to build an understanding and work together in partnership. This empowerment approach helps to promote the rights of the individual to make as many  activitiesinstructionssituationschoices as possible in their day-to-day life. To do so,  releaseinformationteacherspictures and knowledge are vital. Without understanding their situation and the different options open to them, people can't make   nominationscharitiesdignitychoices.

People's   requirementsregardsrelationsrights to information so that they can play an active role in their own lives are provided in  legislationlibrarieslistsletters, organisational policies and procedures and care professionals'   uniformsprescriptionscodesBraille of practice/conduct. Alongside these, when a care worker is actively interested in the individual and is trying to build an understanding of their needs, they avoid making inappropriate assumptions. The carer is also able to demonstrate  reactionrephraserebellionrespect for the client's beliefs and to support and value this individual through anti-discriminatory practice.   

In principle, this concept of empowerment sounds fine, but many service users receive health and social care because they are either not able to make or not  confidentcreativeconnectedconfirmed in making their own decisions. Therefore, it may be necessary for the care professional to discuss issues with relatives or friends to get information about this person to ensure  operationalinstitutionalsystematicindividualised care. In addition, there may be certain factors that limit how far a service user can be totally independent, which could create conflict. For example, protecting the person's safety might impact the client's right to choice or confidentiality. Health and social care workers should receive  traffictrainingtradingtreatment to deal with situations that could cause conflict by active listening, teamwork and keeping an open mind.
