Socialism is an ideology which maintains that people are  intelligentgoodrationalimperfect. As a result, it aims to reduce or eliminate   equalitylaw and orderpowerclass differences in society. Socialists believe that   human behaviourrealityclassthe state is influenced by society.

There are five core ideas and principles within socialism.
