One of the most important decisions for  an entrepreneur a man a worker a customer when setting up a small business is the location, and this decision will depend on the type of business.

If the business makes bulky or   consumable perishable fragile unwanted goods, e.g. yoghurt, then it will need to be located close to its customers for ease of   carrying truck van transport .

If the business is a café, restaurant or bar, it will need to be located near customers or areas of high   hiking town footfall shoes , e.g. a town centre coffee shop.

If the business needs particular  labour hard work endeavour toil skills, then it may locate in a certain region of the UK.  For example, Cardiff is known for steelworks and Nottingham is known for pharmaceutical and medicine production.

For some businesses, e.g. a quarry or a pottery, their proximity to   fabric tackles cloth raw materials may be the most important factor.

Some businesses will need to be located in a certain area to attract customers looking for those goods, e.g. a retail clothes shop in a   common square park shopping mall .

With increasing use of   knowledge tools technology machinery and the Internet, some entrepreneurs may decide to sell   away online profit revenue  and will work from home, so location is not an issue.

Small businesses which offer a   service check ceremony provision may need to locate close to customers but may not need a premises to operate from.  For example, a gardener or plumber could work from home.
