The reality of  hatredpolitical uncertaintyfightingwar has been part and parcel of the human experience for the entirety of human history. The past  one thousandone millionfiveone hundred years have seen two large-scale World Wars in which the cost of human life and suffering was staggering and is remembered each year in the United Kingdom in the hope that we will learn from history. War is the intentional use of  politicsdiscussionviolencefear between two different states or countries in a state of  terrordisagreementconflictunion. War is harmful, and is marked with a great deal of suffering. Therefore, the idea of  reconciliationjusticepowerrighteousness following the end of a war is important, as it means that those who have committed undue wrongs during the war are held accountable. Wars can also be waged for the purpose of seeking justice, such as two countries going to war over a  human rightstrivialfinancialfictional issue.  WarPolitical discordPeaceTension is the state of political and civilian harmony, in which war is absent. This is the desired state, as most people would want to live free from the pain and suffering caused by war. Many people desire peace, and many religious people believe that they should work towards peace. Specifically, Christians believe that they should work towards peace because  JohnGodJesusSaint Paul taught that peacemakers are  lovedraised upblessedvalued in Matthew 5:9. A modern form of conflict which is waged by smaller groups of people with the specific intent of inspiring fear is  bombsguerilla warfareterrorismair strikes. This usually involves a specific attack carried out on  politiciansarmed forcesthe MODcivilians, but there is a wide variation in the nature of the attacks. An example of a terrorist attack is the attack on the Twin Towers in the United States on September 11th, 2001.
