GeneralVagueRoundaboutSpecial Revelation is a form of revelation which is less  specialholyrelevantdirect than Special Revelation; however, it can still have a big impact on a believer's life. This type of revelation can happen in a huge variety of different ways, and can be specific to the individual. It can be experienced in the smallest of things, such as a believer experiencing the feeling of  creativityawedisappointmentdisillusionment with nature, and from this sense they believe they can gain knowledge of what God is like – i.e. the majesty of nature might inspire amazement on the part of the believer at the  ideapowercharacterimmanence of God. A believer may feel a closeness to God as a result of this, a sense of comfort in the power of the divine. Another form of general revelation is via the religious  documentstheologystoriesscriptures of a specific religion. For example, if a Christian was reading a passage from the  BibleTanakhQur'anHadiths they might feel they have, through the reading, learned something specific about  themselvesGodtheir actionstheir life. They might also feel that a specific passage applies directly to a situation they are in, and may see this as God speaking to them through the holy text.
