Death and the  resultfuneralaftermathafterlife is an important part of belief in some religions. There are some faiths which do not contain beliefs about the afterlife; however, in  ChristianityHinduismWiccaBuddhism it is a key and central part of the religious belief, faith and tradition as access to an afterlife with God is considered to be offered through the person of Jesus. Many non-religious people do  notentirelynegativelycertainly believe in the afterlife, as they do not believe there is anything beyond this world. However, within religious traditions there are a variety of differing beliefs about the afterlife. Catholic Christians believe that there are  threesevensixfour realms of the afterlife, which include heaven, hell and  jahannamjannahheavenpurgatory, a realm between heaven and hell where many people go to make amends for their sins before  blessingdeathjudgementdestruction and entrance into heaven. All Christians believe in an afterlife, and all Christians believe in the existence of heaven and hell. However, some Christians believe that heaven and hell are  fierysolidliteralguaranteed places, whereas other Christians may view this as being more metaphorical. Generally, Christians believe that those who are good will go to  jahannamheavenhellpurgatory whereas those who are bad will go to  limbopurgatoryhellpunishment. Within Islam, there is a belief in a period of time following death where the body stays in the grave, which is known as  akhirahjahannambarzakhhanif.
