Health and fitness are two terms that are often used interchangeably, but it is important to know the difference between the two and understand the relationship between health and fitness.

HappinessHealthLonelinessFitness is defined as a state of complete social,  happinessfriendsmentalsleeping and physical well-being and not merely the absence of  friendsdiseasehappinessfitness (World Health Organization).

Therefore, poor  sleepingsocialmentalloneliness well-being may include limited interaction with society, not having many friends, increased isolation, not meeting new people and not working or interacting with groups. Poor  lonelinessmentallifestylesocial well-being may include unhappiness, depression, stress and anxiety. Finally, poor  lifestylephysicallonelinessemotional well-being may include overweight and obesity, poor components of  emotionsfitnesslifestyleloneliness, increased resting heart rate,  coldnon-existenthighlow blood pressure and chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes. However, poor health does not mean that you do not have good levels of fitness, or cannot train. But it must be noted that poor health may cause an inability or lack of desire to train. Reduction or the stopping of training will result in lower  lonelinessfitnessemotionslifestyle.

CharacterFitnessLifestyleEmotions is defined as an individual’s ability to cope with the  lifestyledemandsrequestsjob and challenges of their environment. Therefore, poor fitness may include not being strong enough to carry out everyday tasks, such as being able to carry something with ease, lacking the energy and stamina needed to run or walk for a period of time, and feeling lethargic. Having  elitenostalgicpoorexcellent fitness does not mean that you have poor  happinessfitnesshealthloneliness. It is still possible to train to improve levels of fitness; it is also possible to increase fitness despite ill health. For example, a person may be suffering from anxiety and an illness, but they will still be able to increase their fitness through training.
