Within Christianity, there is a variety of different ideas about God. Christianity is  a deistica monotheistica polytheistican atheistic religion, which means that Christians believe in one god. This is different from   deisticpolytheisticmonotheisticatheistic faiths, which believe in many gods. However, Christianity is challenged by some as being  tritheisticatheisticdystheisticdeistic, which means believing in three gods, due to the existence of the  TrinityUnionGodhoodMulti-God. The Trinity is one of the central concepts within Christian teaching. This is the belief that God has three different  formsvariationstypesversions, and yet remains wholly one. These are God the  YahwehJevhovaFatherGrandfather, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God the Son is believed to have been  JamesJesusJosephJudas, a first-century Jew whose teachings are recorded in the Gospels, which are included in the  ApocalypseApocryphaOld TestamentNew Testament of the Christian Bible. His life and teachings are central to the Christian faith. God the Holy Spirit is the belief that Christians are able to be supported by God’s spirit in their lifetime. God the Father is the traditional God of Judaeo-Christianity. Christians would argue that believing in the Trinity does not make Christianity  deisticagnostictritheisticmonotheistic, because they believe that the Trinity makes up one God in three persons.
