LICs and NEEs are developing very rapidly. The secondary sector refers to  manufacturingstoppedservicesresourcing, whereas the tertiary sector refers to  positiveservicesindustrialisationmanufacturing.  TransnominalTransnationalRepatriationNegative corporations (also written as TNCs) often set up production in LICs or NEEs as wages are often  stoppedexpensiveindependencycheaper so the companies can maximise profits. This move is known as  manufacturinghomogenisationresourcingoutsourcing. There are many advantages and disadvantages to the LIC or NEE that a TNC has outsourced to. Advantages include economic opportunity, the  positiveadaptedtransnationalnegative multiplier effect and the opportunity to encourage  unsustainableexpensivesustainablesocially industrialisation. Disadvantages include  exploitationresourcingservicesrepatriation of workers, economic  independencydifferentiationdeficiencydependency and environmental damage such as  cheaperdeficiencypollutioneconomically. There is also the argument that TNCs and globalisation can lead to the  urbanisationdifferentiationhomogenisationstopped of cultures, which means that local customs and traditions are erased and many countries’ cultures become the same. This is sometimes seen as a negative viewpoint as it is not  dependencyeconomicallypositivesocially sustainable. On the other hand however, some TNCs have  servicesstoppedadaptedrepatriation their businesses and products to fit in with local cultures, which can be seen as more socially sustainable.
