One way to reduce the development gap in through  economicnegativeinfrastructureinvestment. This is where a country, company, or government gives money or sets up projects to increase development. A common way to increase this type of development is to establish a  landrecyclingpollutiontourism industry. This encourages people to visit a country for leisure.  FoodSocio-economicTouristsPoliticians bring in money from  migrantsoutsideinsideinfrastructure the local economy, but spend their money within it. This increases  economiclandenvironmentalnegative flow and can lead to a  environmentalpositivetouristsnegative multiplier effect. As the industry develops there is a demand for  pollutionenvironmentalworkersmigrants, which provides locals with jobs. This is seen as a  negativesocio-economicenvironmentalweather benefit. Additional benefits include improvements in  climateinfrastructuretouristsprecipitation, clean drinking water and improved  insidefoodpositiveweather security. However, there are some disadvantages including environmental damage such as  insiderecyclingclimate change mitigationpollution and  negativeprecipitationlandfood erosion.
