Water is built from one particle of oxygen and two particles of  humourhydrogenretinolhelium. In room temperature it is  liquiddensesalivasolvent and it is an important  steamsystemsolutesolvent for many substances.

All living organisms need water to stay alive and perform the basic life processes. Water is lost from the body through kidneys and intestines, skin and the  musclesrespiratory systemcardiovascular systemsensory receptors. The most water is lost during  blood acidityphysical activityhydrationshopping, on hot sunny days and during diseases with high  feverantibiotic useurineoutput. It is important to drink enough water as otherwise  dehydrationhigh smokehydrationhyperventilation may occur. The main symptoms include dark urine, dry skin, overheating and  heat strokeheat defecthigh smokehypothermia.

Water can be provided to the body with beverages, milk, juices, vegetables and many other food products. A healthy person should drink  three to four litresone to two pintssix to eight glassessix to eight pints of water each day.
