During cell division, DNA is  lostmutatedreplicateddivided so that there is enough available to share between cells. Each  chromosomeenzymemoleculeprotein is duplicated, and the cell parts responsible for cell functions are  destroyedunusedtranslatedmultiplied.

MitosisReproductionMeiosisActive transport is the process of each  unitmembranepairgroup of chromosomes being divided equally between two  daughtermothersistercousin cells. A cell goes in order through  prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophasemetaphase, telophase, anaphase and prophasetelophase, prophase, metaphase and anaphaseanaphase, metaphase, prophase and telophase before reaching cytokinesis, where both the  plasmidscell wallchloroplastscell membrane and the cytoplasm are divided, resulting in two identical diploid cells.

This process increases the total number of cells in the body and enables growth. Growth can be tracked in babies using percentile charts, which give an indication of whether babies are growing at a healthy rate. At any point in their growth,  0.7577525 per cent of babies will have masses below the 75th percentile curve on the chart.

A special type of cell, known as a stem cell, is capable of  dividingshrinkingappearingactivating many times and  secretingmergingdifferentiatingtunnelling into another type of cell. Human stem cells are mainly found in  malesembryosspermmuscles, while plant stem cells are present throughout life in structures known as  meristemxylemchloroplastsleaves. The cells in mature animals can only divide to perform  specialisationfunctionsrepairreproduction or replacement.

This is your 1st attempt! You get 3 marks for each one you get right. Good luck!
