There may be some aspects of your physical circumstances which impact positively or negatively on your health and well-being. 

One of the main physical factors that impacts your overall wellbeing is the set of  proteinsgeneshousing conditionsfinancial resources you are born with. Depending on the hereditary characteristics you  wantcatchinheritneed from your parents, you may be born with a genetic health condition, such as  influenzaParkinson's diseasesickle cell diseaseheart disease, or be genetically  certain to developpredisposed towardsimmune toresistant to certain conditions, such as  meningitisdiabetescystic fibrosissickle cell disease or cancer.

The presence or absence of a health condition can also affect someone’s overall wellbeing. Ill health can be  acutefatalchronicinherited (an illness which comes on suddenly and which has a short duration) or  geneticimaginedchronicacute (an illness which lasts for a long period of time). Ill health can also be physical, such as  lonelinessschizophreniacardiovascular diseasesocial anxiety, or mental, such as  diabetesobesitystresscystic fibrosis

Other physical factors that may impact health and wellbeing are physical abilities and sensory impairments. The physical ability to carry out positive lifestyle choices, such as exercising, may be limited for  elite athleteselderly peoplemiddle-aged adultschildren or people with a physical disability. Impairments to sensory organs can affect vision and hearing, and also negatively impact wellbeing, particularly if assistance in the form of hearing loops and  transportBraillerailingslifts is unavailable.
