Internet of Everything (IoE) has had an impact on various fields, from energy, health, and transport, to manufacturing, business, and military.

Smart  waterdeviceenergyportable meters are widely used to monitor power consumption in the home. These are portable devices that send energy consumption data to energy providers. They use  an HCIan APIan Internet connectionan intranet connection to display the energy being used and can help save the cost of energy efficiently. Renewable resources can be implemented to reduce pollution, which leads to a better environment. But if a power loss occurs, the device stops and can cause incorrect readings.

Smart devices are now linked to health monitoring through   securewearableHCItraditional devices such as fitness bands and mobile health trackers, giving doctors the required details of a patient before they even arrive at a hospital. Patients suffering from serious illness can be monitored, even from home, through D2D interaction, and immediate action is taken in case of abnormal readings. Constant innovations are taking place in remote surgeries, where a surgeon can operate from different   surgerieslocationsdevicesconnections using augmented reality (AR) and robots. These measures improve the healthcare industry immensely and save precious time and resources but can cause delays in case of an emergency and require lots of initial investment.

Manufacturing companies have increased their usage of robotics in production. Equipment data has a unique  nameaddresslocationID which is recorded and stored in a cloud storage where manufacturers can keep track of the stock and automatically order more parts when they run out. Parts and heavy products can now be moved around the warehouse using   robotsconnectionsARHCI with their locations being constantly tracked and updated which reduces the need for humans to manually move and keep check of products, reducing the risk of injuries and delays. These advancements have increased employee productivity and retain quality of products manufactured by indicating faulty products.

Military and emergency services have developed drones which are used in various situations where   controlledrobothumanmilitary intervention may not be applicable. Drones provide surveillance through real-time video streams and can be controlled by humans through VR and AR technologies. Mixed reality (MR) is used to train personnel for real-life scenarios in a   virtualfakerealdifficult environment like flight simulation and emergency rescue drills. Smart devices have been developed to alert appropriate departments of any emergency situations occurring in the city. However, lack of access to these automated devices in rural areas can cause threats.

Smart devices are increasing day by day, with more users, more connections and more locations. Inside homes, smart devices improve convenience and comfort by giving access to users all through a  gesturesoftwarevideo streamsmartphone. Smart lighting, heating and ventilation all help to reduce energy consumption. Alarm systems are equipped with IoE, keeping homes monitored and safe from break-ins. Personal use of smart devices has changed the way of living through technologies such as monitoring personal health with wearable devices, voice commands with speakers and navigation through virtual streets with  BluetoothWi-FiARInfrared. Businesses have implemented smart locks, contactless payments and QR code scanning which automates most of the processes, saving time and energy.

Transport industries have developed   newsmartmanualautonomous vehicles and smart cities which come together to increase safety and lower pollution. Buses and trains have introduced e-tickets and driverless vehicles. Smart cities use IoE by connecting components like traffic lights, pedestrian crossings and streetlights,     which is increasing every day to make the world around us autonomous and lower any human interaction where it may not be needed.
