Validation and   verificationspell checksfactsnumericals are two different tools that check whether data entries are correct when entered into a digital system. They are mainly used to identify and eliminate any  factsnumberscheckserrors when entering data.

 VerificationNumbersTextValidation checks whether the data entry makes sense for a required field. Preset rules are used to   testcomparemanipulatedelete the data entered. This check occurs at the point at which data is being entered, not   afterbeforeduring the time ofat the start of being processed.

An example of a validation tool is  length checkpresence checkrange checklookup, which sets a limit on the highest and lowest values to make sure that the data entered is within this value, e.g. entering an age between 20 and 30.

Verification is a tool used to  checkaddmatchmix the entered data to the original source. An example of a verification method is double entry, which compels the user to enter the data  differentlythricetwicemanually to make sure it is correct.
