For a user to interact with an HCI, there are a few methods, including  face recognitiontouch and gesturevoice controlnetwork connectivity, keyboard and mouse, and voice input.

Keyboard and mouse input are traditional methods which many users are familiar with. Due to standard keyboard layouts, users take advantage of keyboard  letterscontrolsignsshortcuts, making navigation much faster. Similarly with a mouse, a cursor helps increase precision and  displaysincreaseshidesdecreases the chance of selecting incorrect options.

Voice input lets users interact with an HCI through   informationvoice commandstouchscreensgestures which can be integrated with smartphones and other devices. This especially benefits users with physical disabilities as it provides assistance through a natural communication method, the voice. However, the results might be  accuratesmalllargeinaccurate due to variation in voice commands or dialects.
