Different Approaches to Waste

It was not so long ago that people bought things, used them once, and then threw them away. This was called the   throwawaywastefullineardisposableblackinformal economy. Rubbish was buried in/on  buildinggarbagelandfillpicnicsewagebattle sites where it would rot away and give off  nitrogenoxygensulfurleadmethanesodium hydroxide, a smelly and explosive gas. These days, we like to try to be a bit more responsible. A lot of waste can be burnt  in a nuclear reactorin a quarryin an incineratorin cooling towerson a bonfirein your dustbin where the  coalheatashwatersoundgas it generates can be used to make steam and drive a  tractorgeneratorhelicopterherd of sheepcarbattery. Certain types of waste, such as food leftovers and teabags, can be  compostedcontrolledcontractedcomplicatedcrushedcompacted and will break down naturally. Now, however, it is important that we  refuserecyclerestoreregisterreorderrebuild as much waste as we can so that our supply of non-renewable resources is not  exhumedexposedextortedinfiltratedexhaustedinfinite. In this way we are working towards a/an  linearcircularinfiniteendlessrecessioninformal economy.
