Polymers are long molecules with  a repeatingan alternatingan irregulara complex structure. Deoxyribonucleic acid, also known as  RNADRADRNADNA, is a biological polymer. Its monomers are called  helicesnucleotidesamino acidssugars. It contains all of the information required for life. Other biological polymers include  ATPstarchglycinelipid and cellulose, which are both polymers with sugar monomers.

Polypeptides are polymers formed from  lipidsamino acidscellulosefatty acids. They can be combined together to form the biological molecules  carbohydratesproteinstriglyceridesfats.
