Water is lost from the body in a number of ways, including through sweating, which cannot be controlled. The only way the body can control the water balance of the body through the loss of water is via  bleedingbreathingskin sheddingurination. The organ primarily responsible for this is the  gallbladderheartstomachkidney. It filters the blood and  deselectively reabsorbsselectively reabsorbspassively secretesactively absorbs the useful substances contained in the blood in a series of tubes called  a mitochondriona nephronan alveolusa ribosome. This structure has many parts, including:

  • the Bowman's capsule, containing a network of capillaries called the   epidermisloop of Henleurethraglomerulus,
  • two  convolutedregulatedanaerobicselected tubules which increase its surface area,
  • and a permeable  hypothalamuscollecting ductepidermisrenal artery through which water passes immediately before entering the ureter.

The permeability of this last structure is controlled by the hormone  ADHTSHLHFSH, which is released from the  hypothalamusthyroidadrenal glandspituitary gland in response to the detection of low water levels in the blood.

This is your 1st attempt! You get 3 marks for each one you get right. Good luck!
