Developing and emerging countries are developing very rapidly. This is often achieved through  differentiationnegativeindustrialisationdeindustrialisation and increasing the  environmentaleconomicexpensivenegative output from the secondary and tertiary sectors. The secondary sector refers to  stoppedmanufacturingresourcingservices, whereas the tertiary sector refers to  manufacturingservicespositiveindustrialisation.  NegativeTransnominalTransnationalRepatriation corporations (also written as TNCs) often set up production in developing or emerging countries as wages are often  cheaperindependencyexpensivestopped so the companies can maximise profits. This move is known as  homogenisationresourcingmanufacturingoutsourcing. There are many advantages and disadvantages to the developing or emerging country that a TNC has outsourced to. Advantages include economic opportunity, the  adaptedtransnationalpositivenegative multiplier effect and the opportunity to encourage  sustainablesociallyunsustainableexpensive industrialisation. Disadvantages include  exploitationrepatriationresourcingservices of workers, economic  dependencydeficiencyindependencydifferentiation and environmental damage such as  pollutiondeficiencycheapereconomically. There is also the argument that TNCs and globalisation can lead to the  stoppedhomogenisationurbanisationdifferentiation of cultures, which means that local customs and traditions are erased and many countries’ cultures become the same. This is sometimes seen as a negative viewpoint as it is not  positiveeconomicallydependencysocially sustainable. On the other hand however, some TNCs have  stoppedservicesadaptedrepatriation their businesses and products to fit in with local cultures, which can be seen as more socially sustainable.
