Social is the equal distribution of wealth and opportunities and equal treatment by the government within a society. The United Nations states that, 'Social justice is the view that everyone deserves equal economic, political and social rights and opportunities.'
Issues within social justice include, but are not limited to:

One way Muslims attempt to promote social justice is by the giving of to those in need. This is a charitable requirement within Islam which allows wealth distribution to move from the wealthy to the poorer within the Islamic community. It is required to be anonymous, to ensure that those giving are giving with pure hearts, and those receiving do not feel embarrassed by their poverty.
