Environmental issues have become an increasing concern for many within the past few decades, as the human impact on the world has become more and more obvious. There are various issues which we need to grapple with; these include  improvementpollutionreleasingdumping, which is the result of our natural world being too greatly impacted by chemicals and substances as a result of human use.  Global boilingGlobal coolingGlobal hottingGlobal warming is one of the results of this process – where the temperature of the earth overall is rising as a result of pollution. 

Muslims believe that they have a responsibility to look after the planet, due to their role as  Qur'ankhalifahSunnahimam.  They believe that this is a duty they have to  harmdismissignorecare for the environment, as it is Allah's creation and, therefore, they need to look after it. 

Another factor which Muslims must consider is  humanplants'animalvegetables' rights. Eating the meat of animals forms a large part of many humans' diet worldwide.  KhalifahSawmShariahSalah law dictates that animals should not be treated with cruelty, however, the sacrifice of animals is an important part of some Muslim festivals and rituals - such as the sacrifice of a ram or similar animal during the festival of  ChristmasLentId-ul-AdhaAshura.
