Modern society has a high level of  crimesinequalityvarietysuffering, which many people view as being something which should be celebrated. Places such as the UK and the US in particular are known as being  friendlywarmwell-runmulticultural societies, meaning that they are communities made up of people from all creeds, races, sexualities, etc. This can and should make for a rich tapestry of people and in an ideal world would result in a society which functions harmoniously while celebrating differences. However, due to a variety of different reasons, these differences can lead to the development of  ideasprejudicethoughtsfailures against groups different from one's own. This means that you might have a disposition to view another person in a specific, usually  positivedisappointingcreativenegative, way. This can lead to treating that person in a different way because of the fact that they are part of a specific demographic. This is known as  equalitylyingdiscriminationfeminism. This kind of treatment is wrong, and causes  equalityjusticefailureinequality within society. An example of this is  racismforgeriesfeminismsexism – for example, if a boss is a man who has specific ideas about how  menparentsauntswomen are supposed to act or what they are supposed to be like (e.g. being 'overemotional'), this might mean that he is inclined not to hire a woman for a job. This is discrimination and unequal treatment on the basis of sex.
