The Prophet  DawudIsaMuhammadMusa had a family, which included multiple wives and many children. His family is considered to be very important in Muslim tradition. 

Muslims believe that they should follow the example of Muhammad - known as the  TawratSunnahGreat ExampleQur'an. Since the Prophet placed such high importance on his own marriage and family, Muslims believe that they should too. 

Many Muslims believe that because the family is the cornerstone of society, it plays an important role in society. By providing a place for children to be taught important moral  valuesliesmistakeshiccups then the family is supporting society by ensuring future generations are morally sound. 

Muslims believe that  menchildrenwomengrandparents are the heart of the home - mothers are responsible for teaching their children Islamic beliefs, rituals and prayers at home. It is the responsibility of the  fathercousinmotheruncle to take the children to the mosque to learn about their faith.
