Angels are important beings within Islam. They are made from  claylightbricksdust, as opposed to humans, who are made from  lightmagicclaypaper. Unlike humans, they have no  consciousnessgenderpowerideas so are neither male nor female. Belief in angels is very important in Islam as it is one of the  Six ArticlesFour ConvictionsTwelve DisciplesSeven Ideas. Angels also feature in Islamic ideas of the life cycle – for example, there are  twothreefivefour angels who visit a human following death to ask them a series of questions about how they lived their life – this will then impact their destination in the afterlife.
