 Women'sHumanAnimals'Men's rights are rights for all people. They are the bedrock of modern Western society, and are the central concern of the law. The  EUUKUniversalUAE Declaration of Human Rights is the central document concerning this. It was ratified in 1948 following the Second  AfghanGulfWorldCold War, which saw human rights atrocities committed by various different forces, such as the treatment of thousands of people by the Nazi Party in the concentration camps in Germany. The document aims to afford human rights to  specificallwhitefew people. It protects people against:

•  GenderAbleistReligiousRacial discrimination, which is discrimination on the basis of the ethnicity of an individual
•  ReligiousGenderRacistAbleist discrimination, which is sexist discrimination on the basis of the sex of an individual
•  AbleistRacistReligiousGender discrimination, which is discrimination on the basis of someone's faith
•  AbleistRacistClassistReligious discrimination, which is discrimination against an individual with a disability

The UDHR also affords people basic human rights such as the right to a fair  parolefighttrialimprisonment in the event that they are accused of a crime. It also outlawed the use of  tortureextortionblackmailimprisonment as a means of punishment or a government gaining information. It aims to uphold the equality and  happinessdignityentitlementspreferences of all human beings. There are instances where  far-fetchedreligiouslegalimportant beliefs clash with human rights. For example, some religious people (such as certain groups of Christians, Muslims, etc.) believe that the institution of  happinessmarriagesacramentrelationship should only be between one man and one woman, which obviously would prohibit the practice of  same-sexpolygamistheterosexualmultiple marriage. Here is an example of a point of conflict between the right to marry, which is considered a human right for all, and the right to religious expression. It is now  illegaldiscouragedencouragedlegal in the UK for two people of the same sex to marry; however, if a religious group does not wish to marry them there are special exemptions which respect their religious tradition.
