HolySpecialGeneralFailed revelation is a form of revelation which refers to the direct interaction of God with humankind through various means – visions, appearances, dreams, etc. The conversion of  JesusJudasSatanSt Paul is one of the more famous examples of special revelation, found within the book of  LukeActsMatthewMark. He experienced a vision of  JudasAbrahamMosesJesus where he was questioned as to why he was persecuting Christians. The vision was incredibly bright, and the account states that Paul was left blind for a number of days following the incident. This is considered to be an example of special revelation because of the stark  stopfailuremovementchange in behaviour in St Paul. Previously known as Saul, before his conversion he was openly against Christianity, even going as far as seeking to kill as many Christians as he could. He was a strong persecutor of the early church. Due to the  dreamvoicefirevision he experienced he completely changed track – he converted to Christianity and became a missionary. Additionally, while St Paul's conversion is contained in the Bible, he went on to write many letters contained in the  Old TestamentBooks of MosesNew TestamentQur'an which are now very influential in the Church.
