A  familygatheringclubgroup is traditionally a social group which is genetically linked; however, this is not always true in the modern day as many people are part of blended families (where parents have remarried, introducing  step-parentsfriendscousinsgrandparents into families). This may occur after divorce or after the death of one parent, allowing another to remarry. This may also introduce other children into the mix. Modern families can take many different forms, so it is important to consider  wherewhatwhyhow people choose to have families and whether or not there might be religious reasons or purposes. The  bestclosehappynuclear family is one which involves generally two parents and their offspring. The  extendedbiggermorelarger family is the family beyond the nuclear family. This might include cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. For many religious people, families are very important. One of the purposes of marriage is  lecturingprocreationcreationparenting, which is the act of a married couple creating children and making their own family. This is considered within religious thought to be a  negativegoodbadneutral thing, to be encouraged. For example, in Christian and Jewish tradition, children are viewed as a blessing as couples are instructed in Genesis by God to be  lovingpassionateactivefruitful and multiply, which teaches them that if possible they should have children.
