The problem of  sadnessevilhappinessdiscontent is an important one to Christians, as it can  encouragedestroychallengedecimate their faith if they don’t work to understand why bad things happen if God is just and good.

Some Christians might say that because God is  not interested inbelowbeyondremoved from human knowledge and understanding, then we should accept that we will never know why bad things happen. Such Christians might point to the good which can sometimes come from the bad, and stress the need to  doubttrustquestionanalyse God as he will have a plan.

Other Christians believe that suffering could be considered to be a punishment for human  sinconsumptionsuccessexistence, while other Christians might view the presence of evil in the world as being a  a testan examinationan encouragementa reassurance of their faith.

Some Christians might see it as an opportunity to  persecuteservesubjugatehinder others, as a way to show God’s love to the world.
